Tres Cool & Comfy

Velour Tunic & Leggings Set: Chadwicks of Boston
Tres Cool Beanie: H&M | Scarf: J.Crew | Skater Slips: Sam Edelman | Watch: Michael Kors

I am SO excited to announce that I'm officially a new Style Ambassador for Chadwicks of Boston & Metro Style. Growing up Chadwicks was a brand my mom always used to wear, very professional classic pieces. What I want to say is get that old school stereotype of Chadwicks out of your head! They have A LOT of updated style pieces with a twist, and some signature classics that are universal and ageless.  The first thing that comes to mind when I think of a "velour" sweatsuit is that over done 2 piece Juicy look we all played out in our teenage years. This velour tunic and legging set is a signature classic of Chadwicks done right. One of my own personal style rules when it comes to leggings (because they are tight, and I have a lot of booty),  my top should always cover my behind. This tunic hits at a perfect length, giving me enough coverage and making me feel comfortable and ready to roll. I can wear this look to the gym, running errands on the weekend, or even on a casual date night.  I paired the look with a fun Tres Cool beanie from h&m, yellow J. Crew scarf, and skater slips.

More Chadwicks of Boston style coming your way over the next few months! What do you think of this look?

The Lush Lash Experience #SheWinksNYC

First of all, can I just say how fabulous is the She Winks NYC studio?! I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing founders for a holiday beauty blogger event at the Freida Rothman Flagship boutique about a week ago, referred by the ultimate Beauty Blogger Expert DIVAlicious. The She Wink gals were doing lash trials for all of our blogger babes and I think they all came out amazing and was dying to try it myself. I was invited by the owners to come check out their headquarters in person for a full "Lush Lash" experience. I never really wear eyelashes unless I am getting my makeup done professionally. I do not have the patience to put them on myself… they just never seem to come out right.  I have teeny little eyelashes, and have tried every mascara in the book to plump those babies up but it doesn't do any justice. Honestly, I've always been afraid to get the individual lash extensions because I thought it would make my real lashes fall out (that is SO FLASE).

I got a full set of lashes on the top lid, which were applied by Lo Ann (an amazing technician at the studio).  As you can see from my before and after pictures, they make a HUGE difference in my look. These lashes will stay on 3-5 weeks, with the proper care of course. Lash extensions are a great way to GLOW during the holidays, it's a small detail that makes an impact. I am highly recommending She Winks, it's such a cute space and I loved the whole expierence.  Just a warning, if you are getting a full set it usually takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to apply. It's actually really relaxing I might have even dozed off! haha Just be prepared with your scheduling and timing.

She Winks Lash Studio is located at 115 West 45th St, Suite 201
Call them & say Jaclynn sent you! | Ph: 212 944 1850

This is something you have to try at least once! A very special thank you to the She Wink team, I LOVE my new lashes xo

Wild Cargo Jacket #WA9890: UMGEE USA
Plaid Twill Dress: Old Navy (now on sale!) | Cross body: Remi & Reid
Mercer Cross Necklace: Freida Rothman | Sparkle Oxfords: Kate Spade, Nordstrom

What screams "HOLIDAY" more then plaid right? I love this twill shift dress by Old Navy, it's a really comfortable silhouette and the sleeves are 3inch quarter. Perfect for a day at the office, and easily transitional into a holiday party. I threw on this WILD navy cargo jacket by UMGEE USA over the dress. My friends joke around and call it my "artist smock", I love oversized cargos and the back detail is just too perfect.  Deep down inside I am a free spirit so I think it's really fitting, plus I can't get that damn song out of my head every time I wear it! haha I paired this look with silver and black sparkle oxfords by Kate Spade, yes I know how freaking cute are these?! I like to add in a little bit of my eclectic fun and these babies do just that.

What do you think of my look? Show me your WILD style #blazersandbellinis

Frosted Fairytale #HolidayStyle

Dress (Little Mistress): ASOS | Boots: Report Signature, Neiman Marcus | Earrings: Freida Rothman

There are two main things I think of when I see this dress:

1. I feel like the princess from Candyland (Frostine)
2. That line from Taylor Swift's song " Darling Im a nightmare dressed like a daydream"

I FELL IN LOVE when I tried this dress on. I literally feel like a princess, and I NEVER usually wear light colors (especially pink), but there is something about it that's so feminine and glamourous. I feel like I'm floating and the fabric is just so sweet and delicate. I also love the sheer sweetheart top with embellished bell sleeves. I like to wear long sleeves in the winter and it's usually hard to find a cute dress with them.  The cut out in the back brings a little sexy detail to the sweetness.  Now let's talk about these Pave Slice Earrings, a new edition to the Freida Rothman collection. They are dressy enough for evening, but can also be worn with something casual. I am obsessed with them, and I usually don't wear earrings. I paired the look with dark black tights and black booties, because really… I'm not all that sweet! lol I still need to have a little edge in my look. One more thing I want to mention, this is such a great "holiday" dress because it is not the cliché red or green. I am attending my very first Hanukkah party tonight and I think it's perfect for celebrating ANY holiday.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and serving up some fierce #HolidayStyle. Email me anytime for style tips or advice xo

A Few of my Favorite Things #HolidayStyle

Metallic Gold Head Wrap: Karma for a Cure
Leather Zipper Leggings: UMGEE USA | Shoes: Kenneth Cole | Handbag: Michael Kors
Necklace, Rings & Black Enamel Bangles: Freida Rothman | Black/Gold Cuff: Forever 21

This is a very special post for me because I am literally wearing all of my favorite brands and pieces in my wardrobe. The holidays mean a lot to me and I love to dress for the season. For those of you who do not know, I am a Christmas baby! (born December 25th) Everyone's usual response is, "man that must suck", but actually quite the opposite. I LOVE celebrating my birthday with my entire family, everyone is always in good spirits, I am always off from work for my birthday (SCORE! hehe), and it's  full of excitement.  This has been such an amazing and eventful year for me and Blazers & Bellinis.

I am wearing some pretty classic holiday colors and styles, but with a twist. I'm really into big patterned
oversized plaids and large silhouettes with skinny pants. The jacket and T-Shirt are by one of my fav go-to brands ASOS. I think they have such a wide selection of pieces with great prices, and their clothing is really good quality.  The "Believe in Your Sefie" T is so much fun, it reminds people not to take fashion so seriously. It's my FAV T in my closet right now and can be worn with pretty much everything.  My leggings are by UMGEE USA, and they have been such an important staple in my blogging career. I became a Brand Ambassador for UMGEE a little over a year ago and was one of the 1st bloggers to promote their curve line to the wholesale apparel industry and specifically to buyers. This look also shows off all of my favorite accessory pieces, can't live without my staple Freida Rothman rings and bangles, and these are my beloved booties for the winter season.

Last, but not least, I am wearing a very special gold "Healing Halo" head-wrap by Karma for a Cure. Not only is it a trendy way to dress up a look, but you can actually wear the wrap almost 4 different ways or use it as a belt! The best part about Karma for a Cure is the brand's inspiring and heartfelt story. I met the President of Karma for  Cure, Margaux Mintuolo, about a year ago at a Neiman Marcus holiday blogger bash and was immediatley drawn to her vibrance and amazing energy. (not to mention her GORG head chain) Margaux then shared her story and reason behind her business.  Both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer, her father specifically brain cancer, and she wanted to create fashion with a purpose. Karma for A Cure's Healing Halo collection donates directly to brain tumor research.  Her story and mission really touched me and makes you appreciate everything you have, especially your loved ones.

So in simple terms… these are just a few of my favorite things. I wouldn't trade them, and they really help me get into the holiday spirit.
