It's a Lifestyle #LifeHack

Sometimes you only see things from the outside, the things people want you to see. Not all parts of my life are glamorous and beautiful. I don’t always have everything 100% together, and I am far from perfect. My life is a beautiful bunch of chaos, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I work 7 days a week because it is was I CHOOSE. I love my job and what I do, I am always “on” and sometimes that can get exhausting or a little overwhelming so I put myself in a routine that helps me stay on track and find my inner sense of “balance” and no matter how busy or hectic things get.

Over the past 8 months I have been extremely focused on living a healthier lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t just include diet and exercise, but mental health and sleep as well. I found some great resources, apps, brands and outlets that really helped me focus and make my life better so I wanted to share them with you. This is not a paid or sponsored post, but a real one. I truly stand behind these things because I use them everyday. They help me remain healthy even through intense work schedules and travel. This is my “life hack”…

This is my routine- I know it doesn’t work for everyone but it works for me. I have become an early riser over the past year. I always used to hate waking up early because I was a night owl. I started forcing myself to go to bed earlier, and waking up earlier. I usually go to bed now around 10pm (not all nights but as much as I can) and I wake up at 6am on the dot like clock work. At this point I don’t even need an alarm, it’s like this internal thing that just happens. The 1st thing I do when I open my eyes USED to be checking my phone. I don’t do that anymore. It’s so important to start your day with a sense of calm or a mantra. I love waking up super early now because it’s my “me-time”. Everyone else is sleeping and it’s a time that I can focus on myself. I then take an ISAGENIX E shot (green tea energy shot) before I hit the gym. I like the berry one and I always keep them refrigerated. It does not make me jittery, it is 100% natural and is even better then coffee. I make my protein shake with a blender and leave it in the fridge so it’s ready when I come back from my workout.

I have been working out intensely with a fitness trainer, Corey Rouse (you guys might have seen him on my IG stories before). He is so much more then just a trainer, but one of my best friends and personal motivators. He keeps me going, pushes my limits physically, and kicks my ass (which is exactly what I need). I have never enjoyed going to the gym at any point in my life, and now I love it and I def owe that to Corey. Besides training every morning I have incorporated some group workouts such as RUMBLE boxing and TrampoLEAN classes which I love and are a ton of fun.

After my morning workout/shower I spend 20 minutes in mediation. I have been meditating every single day for the past year and it has COMPLETELY changed my life. I started out doing little 5-7 minute ones with an app called HEADSPACE, and then I graduated to INSCAPE. I just use the INSCAPE app now for a guided mediation, I try all of the different series and now do one every morning for 20 minutes minimum (If I have more time I do 30 or 45 min). I highly suggest this app, they even have a studio in flatiron with mediation classes if you wanted to try one in person.

After my mediation I have my morning shake along with Isagenix Complete Essentials for Women vitamin AM packet. I have lost a lot of weight over the past year/ and toning up the past few months because I physically train everyday (7 days a week)- sometimes twice a day alongside the Isagenix program. I found out about Isagenix originally from my sister, who is a total health nut and really liked it. I don’t cook, I live a crazy busy life, I spend a lot of time eating out so I needed a program that could be a little flexible & be adjusted to my life and schedule. I have 2 isa shakes a day (always for breakfast, and sometimes one for lunch or dinner depending) and I only like the chocolate or strawberry ones, I have pretty much tried them all. I also use the ISAGENIX cleanse program every other week, along with some of their bars and snacks. I 100% stand by this program, it can be adjusted for anyone depending on what kind of results or needs you have. Some people want to lose weight, others want to just maintain, or some are gearing up for intense marathons/fitness.

I end my day with my PM vitamins and some reflecting or journal writing. I try to set my goals for the next day and visualize what I want to accomplish, how I want to feel, what I need to do in order to make it happen. I am a HUGE believer in the power of creative visualization and manifestation, call me a "hippie" if you want but it really does work. You need to see yourself where you want to be, and if you do it enough and really focus, you will get there. I work with a lot of writing, vision boards, and anything that helps me think BIG into the universe on exactly what I want. Your thoughts are so important, especially HOW you speak to yourself. It took me so many years to learn this and now that I have, I truly do feel powerful and inspired. Exactly one year ago a special friend gave me this book, and you should read it and do the work inside of it.

I am totally open to speaking with anyone that wants to learn more about any of my life-hacks. If this can be helpful to any of you guys, then mission accomplished! Just shoot me an email at BlazersandBellinis@gmail.com or reach out on social media. On January 15, 2018 I will be starting a 30 day total body challenge with Corey so stay tuned!

Spread the love xo
